Of course working out is beneficial to the body. It can help you feel and look great, beat stress and increase your overall body strength. However – you know what they say, too much of a good thing can be a bad thing – it can get to a certain point where it becomes detrimental to your health and pose negative effects on your body. Over training, which is the result of working out too hard for too long at a high intensity, can leave your body feeling extra stressed out and tired. Just like we all need a balanced diet, we need a balanced work out routine as well.

Recovery is the most important part to any workout. Giving your body enough time to recover in between your workouts will not lead to over training, it will lead to more productive workouts in the future.
