2. Use Various Machines
Doing the same thing on the treadmill gets undoubtedly boring and monotonous. The constant motion is enough to make anyone start daydreaming about better and more fun. A good rule of thumb? Try to just make it ten minutes. Ten minutes seems like a lot more manageable than 30, 45 or even 60 (if you’re into doing that much cardio at once…). Once you’ve done 10 minutes on the treadmill, try another machine like the bike or elliptical for another 10 minutes. After that, move onto the rower or maybe a versa climber. By spacing out your cardio in increments of 10, your workout will seem a lot more manageable.
If staying on the same machine is no problem, try an HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout where you vary speeds for ultimate fat-blasting results.
