2. Plank It Out
While you might think you can simply crunch your way to a svelter midsection, you would be terribly mistaken. Of course, crunches (when performed correctly) can strengthen your core, but planks are what really turn your center into a powerhouse. Slowly add on time to your plank and before you know it, you will be holding it for minutes. Once you’ve mastered the basic form, try interesting variations such as the incline plank or side planks.
